Day 01: Shimla –Sarhan (1960 m) 160 km, drive time 7 hours.

A beautiful drive through thick pine forests of the Pir Punjal Range, crossing Narkanda with an overlooking view of the Shivalik range and lush green valley’s carpeted by apples orchards. En route, then drive further on a steep mountain road to Sarhan. While in Sharhan visit the famous Bhimkali Temple, a big attraction in the area. The legend has it the Temple was founded by one of the Pandavas. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Sarhan-Sangla Valley, 75 kms.

Drive times 3 hours drive along the spectacular Hindustan Tibet border through dry valleys, ridges along wild Sutlej River. A view of the Kailash Peak is splendid from Sangla. From here take an excursion to Kamru Fort, Nag Temple and climb up to Chitkul (3435m). Overnight at Sangla.

Day 03: Sangla-Kalpa via Recong Peo, 80 kms, drive time 4 hours

Drive to Recong Peo, the capital of Kinnaur. En route visit a Buddhist monastery, spend some time in the village. Overnight stay in Kalpa

Day 04: Kalpa-Tabo, 192 kms, drive time 8 hours.

Early morning drive to Dhankar Monastery, the old capital of Spiti valley symbolized by a Fort. Nowadays, about 100 monks live in the monastery taking care of the important scriptures, sculptures, frescoes, and statues. After Dhankar drive to Kee Monastery and Gompa, which is perched high on the pyramid-shaped mountain and, belongs to the Gelugpa sect Visit the Kibber Village, the highest motor connected village in the world. Overnight at Kaza

Day 05: Kaza-Jispa (3400m) via Chander Tal Lake, 220 kms, 9 hours

Drive over Kunzam Pass (4501m) and enjoy the panoramic view of Bara–Shigri Glacier and about a dozen peaks over 6000m in height, enthralling and awe-inspiring. Crossing the pass, we descend to the Chandra Valley, the start of the Lahaul Spiti Region, stark, dry, forbidding and yet amazingly beautiful land. The valley commands excellent views of the mountains including the 6420m-high White Sail Massif (Dharamsura). The view of the Bara-Sigri Glacier, Lalan Peak and the CB Peak is prominent along the way. Before crossing Batal, take a side trip to Chander Tal Lake (Moon Lake 4250m Overnight in Jispa.

Day 06: Jispa-Tso-Kar Lake, 170 kms, drive time 9 hours.

Today morning drive to Tso-Kar Lake Pass the Baralacha La (4850m), Keylong Sarai and the plain areas of Sarchu, Gata Loops, Nukeela Pass (4700m ), Lachungla Pass (4860m ), and Pang, one of the oldest land mass in the world being once a part of the Pangea plate. Overnight in Tso-Kar Lake.

Day 07: Tso-Kar Lake to Tso-Moriri Lake (4400m)

Tso-Moriri is spectacularly beautiful lake, 25 km wide surrounded by pinnacle of snowcapped peaks and a glacier. On the bank of Tso-Moriri is a small village Karzok that has a monastery that, according to the local story, contains a tooth of Lord Gautam Buddha. Onwards via the Polo Kangla Pass (5000m) and down to the Puga Valley is a Sulfur fountain. A late afternoon walk on the banks of Tso- Moriri is an unforgettable lifetime experience. Overnight at camp.

Day 08: Tso-Moriri Lake to Leh (3600m)

Today morning Drive from Tso-Moriri Lake to Leh. via Puga Valley skirts the Indus River and then the Indus valley. Reach Leh Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 09: Leh Local sightseeing.

The day will be devoted to sightseeing around Leh. Visiting the Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery and Hemis Monastery, the biggest monastery in the Laddakh. The Hemis festival is in the month of July every year and is a big crowd drawer. The Stok Palace is the present residence of the royal family.

Day 10: Leh to Khardungla Pass (5600m)

The highest motor able pass in the world is the gateway to Nubra Valley, offering a spectacular view of Trans Himalaya and Karakorum ranges, Visit Khardungla & back to leh.

Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 11: Leh-Pangong-Leh.

The Pangong Lake, 140kms from Leh is the longest lake in the Himalaya, and 70% of the area belongs to China. The lake is nearly magical in its beauty, nestled at the base of the mountains and adorned by blue skies. The stones in the river bed, formed eons ago, give a multi-colored reflection. Back to Leh and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 12: Leh-Delhi by flight.

Today Morning Chack out from Hotel & drive to Leh Airport. Depart from Leh to Delhi.
